Desperado Joins IDW Publishing

 

Award-winning publishing house becomes new IDWimprint

 

IDW Publishing and Desperado today announced a publishing agreement,which will bring Desperado's impressive roster of talented creatorsand expansive catalog of books to IDW under a new imprint.

 

Founded in January 2005 by Eisner Award-winning comics veteranJoe Pruett, Desperado quickly established itselfas a high-end publisher of art books, graphic novels, and comics.Desperado titles have been nominated for five Eisner Awards and wontwo since 2007, and repeatedly feature the comic industry's topcreative talent.

IDW Publishing today announced the launch of its new digitalstorefronts, available exclusively through the Apple App Store.This free application hosts every IDW comic currently available onthe iPhone and iPod Touch, all in one convenient app. IDWComics offers viewers a great way to enjoy theircomics, with new full page and panel-by-panel options, plusfamiliar display and download functions. The IDWComics app features ten free comics, currently boastsover 200 comics, and will be updated regularly with newreleases.

 

 

In addition to the overall IDW Comicsstorefront, fans can also download specialized storefrontscollecting their favorite IDW TRANSFORMERS, Star Trek, and G.I. JOEcomics. Each free specialty storefront offers the same features asthe IDW Comics store, plus more free comics.
