Helpless to resistZVR's rowdy mix of clunky, wise-cracking robots trying to stem thezombie apocalypse (the fault of clumsy scientists), with theremnants of mankind caught in the middle. There have been multipleZVR miniseries, and in 2010, Sony Pictures optioned the film rightsfor Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes productioncompany.

All-New Popeye Comics Debut in April
Acclaimed creator Roger Langridge to write series
San Diego, CA(January 18, 2012)—IDW Publishing today announced that comicindustry star Roger Langridge will write thecompany’s all-new POPEYE comic series, which will debut inApril 2012. Expanding their partnership with King Features toinclude new material, IDW’s POPEYE comicswill offer all-new adventures with the famous “SailorMan” and his friends, including Olive Oyl, Bluto, Wimpy andSwee’ Pea. Joining Langridge to bring Popeyeback to comics is rising-star artist Bruce Ozella.The monthly POPEYE series will be co-edited by IDW’sco-founder and chief executive officer, Ted Adamsand renowned comics expert Craig Yoe.
“I grew up reading Segar’s Popeye andwe’ll be bringing his sensibility to our new series,”said Adams. “Especially now with ourall-star creative team, I’m really looking forward tolaunching this series in April.”
